It was just the right length of time. The information you gave was just enough for a beginners class, the level of difficulty was great as it was a challenge... good instruction and feedback... all things covered that needed to be and yep value for money.
— Sonya, Beginners Workshop
What a brilliant course, well worth the money! I learnt heaps and today I just completed Coppermine with hubby and did not get off my bike once, I managed all the switch backs with a smile on my face. If it hadn’t been for your workshop it would have been a long walk down so thanks again.

Your sessions are so constructive, delivery so encouraging and well paced... you are a natural teacher! The small group made sure we all got some attention, and makes everyone feel special! The opportunity to have a trained eye scrutinised and instruct is so valuable.
— Andrea, Beginners & Intermediate Workshops
You ran the workshop very well – you have a pleasant teaching manner and you had it well planned. The length of time was good – the difficulty was good and I look forward to the next step up. Talking/Instruction – this was good, you talked about a skill then we went and did it – not too much standing around getting cold.

You are a great teacher, you give snippets of relevant and timely information to each of us. I like the way that it all seems un-rushed, we have time to listen and then time to act. You support and encourage each of us in a positive way. You also make sure that everyone gets feedback and encouragement throughout the workshop – you do very well at sharing your input around everyone. I really appreciate the female to female coaching. Plus the stuff on the flat – really valuable, just appreciating what you and your bike can do.

Throughout the afternoon, Emma would present us with different challenges, if we wished to accept! (nobody was forced to do anything they were not comfortable with). She would start by demonstrating, and then we could have a go if we wished. Knowing proper techniques for riding these obstacles is a great confidence booster and gave us the tools we needed to practice ourselves. By the end of the afternoon all of the ladies were a lot happier with splashing through creeks and popping over tree roots on the trails, as well as cornering with more confidence and feeling a lot more in control of the bikes.
